İsrail Başbakanı Netanyahu, Trump’ı İran’a Saldırarak Tehdit Ediyor

According to The New York Times, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has threatened Trump by saying he would derail all talks by attacking Iran.

Israel, which advocates for a military operation against Iran, wants to push Trump on this issue.

According to Israeli officials who spoke to the NYT, Netanyahu argues that the only solution to end Iran’s uranium enrichment program is military intervention.

NETANYAHU CALLS FOR WAR

Trump, on the other hand, approaches Israel’s stance cautiously and mentions that diplomacy is not yet exhausted.

The main issue for the US and Israel is the possibility of Iran enriching uranium to produce a nuclear bomb.

While Trump believes the situation can be resolved through a deal, Netanyahu wants to start a new war.

This disagreement between the parties has intensified bilateral contacts in recent weeks.

There have been at least one tense phone call between Netanyahu and Trump. Mossad Chief David Barnea and Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer held a series of meetings with Trump’s chief negotiator Steve Witkoff in Rome and then in Washington.

It is reported that Netanyahu argues that the time for military operations has come, while Trump wants to use Iran’s weakness as an opportunity for negotiation.

DEADLOCK IN THE AGREEMENT

In a statement over the weekend, Trump said that “a good thing” could emerge in the next two days regarding Iran’s nuclear program.

However, sources close to the negotiations indicate that rather than a concrete agreement, a declaration on principles may be on the agenda for now.

The Iranian side continues to reject the condition of complete cessation of enrichment on its soil.

Chief negotiator Abbas Arakchi clearly stated on social media that if the US imposes the condition of “zero uranium enrichment for Iran,” there will be nothing to talk about.

Netanyahu claims that Iran’s weakness is temporary and that this period may be the last chance for a military move.
